Anurag Dikshit, co-founder of PartyGaming, is to say he is guilty of what he is accused of and potentially pay out a huge $300m fine. As the reports state, Dikshit will be in the Southern District of New York on Tuesday to say he is guilty of at least one Wire Act violation and so cooperate with Department of Justice investigations.

Great online poker site PokerStars.com has decided that it will try to set a new world record later this month for the largest number of players ever seen for an Internet poker tournament. The special tournament will take place on the afternoon of December 28 and about 35,000 players will see it enter the Guinness Book of World Records. Last year, a site licensed by Isle of Man held a similar tournament with 20,000 players, which was a record at the time, and ‘Lynnal’ took home the $20,000 top prize.
PokerStars.com wants to attract players with a buy-in of only $11 and a guarantee $50,000. So far, about 20,000 players have registered. Many online casino games from CryptoLogic Limited, Irish company based in Dublin offering software, will soon be offered to many more players at the best sites after a deal agreed over the weekend with Orbis Technology Limited.
CryptoLogic stated that the strategic partnership with the company offering interactive games and betting options would see its titles offered by Orbis through the Fixed-Odds Games (FOG) platform.
Thanks to the cooperation online blackjack, CryptoLogic will have a great channel with which it could have bigger number of operators offering its casino games. It said that the first site to have its games using Orbis’ FOG platform in the first three months of next year will be SkyBet.com. Other sites using the FOG platform would be Betfair.com, PaddyPower.com and BlueSq.com.
